I think Biden's a good choice. I think Biden's an especially good choice, given the short-list that's been talked about. Sebelius may have been the only other smart pick.

As long as Biden keeps up the "noun, verb, and 9/11" talk, I think he'll do very well.

Eh... boring. And Biden has proved himself a very poor presidential campaigner in his past efforts. I was hoping Obama would do something really bold, like naming the key cabinet posts. I would have seen Biden somewhere in the cabinet before in the VP spot. But if he can turn on the attack dog behavior, more power to him.

BTW, the French Socialist Party will be represented in Denver by two B-level officials (the biggies are all at the party's summer university at the end of the week).

Victorin Lurel looks like some US mayor... not sure who.

Les deux hommes "participeront au nom du Parti socialiste aux travaux de la convention qui désignera officiellement Barack Obama comme candidat démocrate à l'élection présidentielle américaine de novembre".

Le sénateur de l'Illinois est "porteur des valeurs progressistes que partagent les socialistes", précise par ailleurs le communiqué.

Aucun ténor du parti ne fera donc en définitive le déplacement à Denver, en raison notamment de la tenue de l'université d'été du PS à La Rochelle du 29 au 31 août. AP

During the primary Biden did not sound to be all there. When the word came out he was the VP of Obama's choice he sounded to be a person not talking about him but the ticket. He sounded better, if he continues to do this it will hopefully be another building bloc for the democrats.
