This is dorky on my part (or maybe indicative of something else) but gah, I just realized that Rachel Martin was one of the many voices of KQED FM in the SF Bay Area back a few years ago, but somehow I didn't make the connection until after she left for ABC. It's as if back then during her KQED days, the fabled public-radio de-ummer converted the personality of hers that shone on the BPP into Public Radio Standard.
